Beth Watson, formerly Beth Bracey, is a partner in the firm Perez, McDaniel, Faust & Adams, LLP.  She is a Board Certified Estate Planning and Administration Specialist Certified by Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization.  She has practiced in the area of Estate Planning and Administration since graduating law school and cherishes the relationships that she forms with her clients.  Ms. Watson believes that a trusting relationship is key to understanding her clients’ needs and being able to draft a document to accomplish their goals.


Ms. Watson concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning and administration with an extensive experience in administering high net worth estates, including drafting customized wills, powers of attorney and living wills, Louisiana probate proceedings and preparing Federal Estate Tax Returns. She has successfully defended audits of Federal Estate Tax Returns against the Internal Revenue Service.


Ms. Watson lectures locally on Louisiana succession law and estate planning.  She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the New Orleans Estate Planning Council.  Ms. Watson authored the 2006 Update to Louisiana Successions, 2nd Edition, Laura Junge Carmen.


Ms. Beth Watson received her Bachelor of Arts degree, Cum Laude, in Sociology from University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1996.  She attended Loyola Law School and was awarded a Juris Doctorate degree in 2000.  After graduation, Ms. Watson joined Lemle & Kelleher, LLC, in New Orleans, Louisiana as an associate practicing Estate Planning and Administration and General Litigation.  In her years at Lemle and Kelleher, Ms. Watson had the honor to work intimately on many intriguing cases, such as Astoria Entertainment v. Edwin Edwards, et. al., and Memorial Hall Museum, Inc. v. University of New Orleans Foundation.  Memorial Hall Museum is the second largest depository of Civil War memorabilia in the United States.  Ms. Watson joined Guarisco, Cordes & Lala, LLC, which concentrates its practice on tax and tax related matters in the summer of 2004 after the birth of her son, Dylan.


Ms. Watson joined Perez, McDaniel, Faust & Adams, LLP as a partner in March 2015.  Ms. Watson started her career with Donald McDaniel and Deborah Faust as mentors at Lemle & Kelleher, LLP and was thrilled to reunite with them as a partner in the firm.  She is also honored to be able to practice law along-side her father and role-model, Robert L. Perez.


Ms. Beth Watson and her husband, Bill, enjoy volunteering with kids, especially to further education in STEM curriculum.  She also loves to volunteer at her son, Dylan’s school!
